Top Review For The 2008 Ford Falcon XR8 ‘Orion’ CGI

CarAdvice’s automotive stylist has yet again been hard at work taking the covers off Ford’s newest Falcon. Broadmeadows has been hard at work finishing off the next generation Falcon, with test mules as common as morning coffee.

As the undisputed home of Ford Falcon ‘Orion’ spy photographs and associated images, CarAdvice is again happy to bring you the latest Falcon Orion computer generated images.




With rumors currently running hot off the press, sources inside Ford have suggested that the new FPV Typhoon will produce north of 300kW, along with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) as standard equipment.


Derived from a combination of test mule images, along with insider information, the CarAdvice stylist has come up with the following images, signifying the 2007 Ford Falcon XR8.

With the power output of the Orion FPV GT expected to rise to 320kW - following the special edition Cobra GT now hitting 302kW - the XR8 will most likely follow suite and receive a power increase. Holden’s SS Commodore currently puts out 270kW, so it can be assumed the new XR8 will equal - or better - the SS Commodore’s power output.
